About Us

What is Neurological Commissioning Support (NCS)?

Neurological Commissioning Support is a joint initiative led by the MND Association, MS Society and Parkinson’s UK.

We work alongside PCTs and Local Authorities to ensure that people living with long-term neurological conditions are at the heart of commissioning, producing clear recommendations to deliver better outcomes for service users and carers.

Who is NCS for?

Neurological Commissioning Support is for health and social care commissioners seeking to involve service users more strongly in their work.

What is NCS’s aim?

  • Neurological Commissioning Support aims to revolutionise the way that we, as members of the voluntary sector, work alongside commissioners.
  • We aim to put service users at the heart of commissioning, to consult them at every turn.
  • We aim to ensure that it is their views that are heard, and that direct the future of the services that they need.

Who is involved?

Neurological Commissioning Support is a joint initiative led by the Motor Neurone Disease Association, Multiple Sclerosis Society and Parkinson’s UK.

It involves many different staff within, and aspects of, our three organisations.
